Yam Kuey (Steam Yam cake)
Prepare abt 350g of rice flour. Add in water about 800ml, 2 table spoon of corn starch, 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 2 tablespoons of soya soy mix it togather until well mixed.
Cut 400g Yam into small dices. Prepare some dried prawn (chopped fine) and garlic (chopped fine as well). Fry the yam, dried prawn and garlic in oil pan. When dried prawn turn into golden color. Add a bit of water to make sure that the yam cooked soften. After, cooked the yam, add it into the pot of blended rice flour water mixed. Mix everything togather. Then pour in onto any utensil that flat such as square pan. Prepare a steam pot and steam the yam mixed for about 30 mins.
Then, the yam kuey (yam cake) can be served with the topping
